El Diablo Verde is having a lot of fun and so are you. The cajun-spiced fish tacos are the pick, with a proper kick, a slick of lime crema and enough crunch to keep things lively.
The braised beef chilli is rich and smoky if a touch one-note, and the enchilada casserole is comfort food with a backbone. None of it is delicate. All of it is moreish.
It tips loud and the margaritas are stronger than advertised, which on Union Street is either a warning or an invitation. Brilliant fun, slightly chaotic, very tasty.
